Project title: 101 chordoma multi-omes

Award: $250K (2021); $150K (2023)

Description:
This project is focused on gaining a deep understanding of chordoma tumors by studying a comprehensive set of data from over 101 chordoma patients, including both adults and children. This study will gather information on the genetics, proteins, and other types of molecules in these tumors, along with clinical data. By analyzing all this data together, researchers aim to uncover the pathways that drive the growth of chordoma and identify biomarkers that can predict how the disease might progress or respond to treatment. Ultimately, the goal is to be able to tailor treatments to each patient’s specific tumor profile, leading to more effective, personalized care for chordoma patients.
