Project Title: Deciphering the immune signature of chordoma extreme responders to targeted therapies to move toward tailored therapy of chordoma
Award: $200K
Description: This project seeks to understand how the immune system interacts with chordoma tumors, particularly in patients who have been treated with an immunotherapy drug or another type of targeted therapy. By studying tumor samples from chordoma patients who have enrolled in clinical trials, the team will explore how different treatments affect the tumor’s immune environment. Their findings could lead to a better ability to predict how well a patient might respond to specific therapies, helping doctors tailor treatments more effectively. This project is being co-funded with the Cancer Research Institute, and we’re grateful for their partnership.
